Creating Fall Up as a solo developer.
I began working on a basic platformer back in 2015 as a learning exercise to help me learn Unity game development. After having so much fun playing and replaying it, I realized that it had potential and by 2017, I decided to build a proper platformer for commercial release.
I've been working on it on and off since then. I spent years (trying) to perfect the game based on both my assessments and from player feedback. It's a real labor of love and I'm very proud of it.
In 2024, it was chosen to be part of the London Games Festival Official Selection and the GDoC Expo Selection.
It was also featured in various physical events such as WePlay 2023 (Shanghai, China) and the aforementioned LGF2024 (London, UK).
